I've paid attention to having only the synced container open only on a single machine at a time. I've tried the Timestamps option on ad off and everything. Dropbox syncs the container itself, but on the receiving machines it stays completely empty. I encountered some problem syncing a VeraCrypt Container using Dropbox. I'm not sure whether this is the right place for this but I haven't found a better one yet so let's give it a shot:
